About Us

Yellow Flamingo is the brainchild of 2 marketing graduates Gaye and Lee. They created Yellow Flamingo as an outlet to fuse the skills acquired from their corporate life in Marketing and Visual Merchandising, with their natural eye for design.

Gaye and Lee first met while both working as visual merchandisers, where they first honed their skills for space management. They learnt the art of reinventing and reimagining space based on form, function and fit. And discovered their passion for transforming space with functional yet aesthetically pleasing results. 

Prior to creating Yellow Flamingo Gaye had a long marketing career that spanned several industries. As a marketer Gaye developed skills in branding, design and project management. These serve as some of the key principles at the core of our design philosophy.,

At Yellow Flamingo each project is managed from a marketing perspective, we approach each client as if they were a brand. 

We explore who they are, what they are about, what it is they want to convey through their space and why. 

Event Decor and Interior Decorating projects are approached with real world marketing principles and practices. The goal is to create spaces that are a reflection of who our clients are, while being aesthetically beautiful and inviting with a story to tell. All whilst maintaining function, form and flow. 

Whether laying out floor plans, creating marketing plans or designing websites. the thought process and theory are all  transferable and important when planning any large event or a renovation or design project.

We are a dedicated team, who are committed to exceeding the expectations of our customers.
